PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography was born in me at the same time as video, two twin languages for telling emotion. A still image may not move, yet it vibrates with an inner breath, able to bring back a memory, a silence or a sensation. Nature plays an essential role in my work: immersing myself in it is where I draw much of my creativity, letting landscapes invite me to contemplation.

A photo shoot for Girouette, an artistic project whose entire visual identity I help create. Just like in the music videos, Girouette changes skin from one image to the next: each portrait reveals a new character through staging, costume and light.

Shaping the image and photographic style of bands brings completely different worlds to light. For MC Circulaire, a shoot designed for press and web use, capturing the band's energy and singularity through the lens.

Portraits of the band Von Pariahs, shot for their press releases and website. Every band has its own universe, which pushes me to rethink each proposed space in order to capture its essence.

Portraits of the band Atanta. Shooting for press releases and websites is an exercise I particularly enjoy: adapting my artistic vision to highlight the singularity of each band.

A studio series studying fish trapped in ice. The situation highlights the intense cold they are subjected to, as well as their total lack of expression. Two types of fish are studied, all of identical size.

Astronomy is one of my passions: I love taking time to watch the stars, looking for constellations or shooting stars. With Spacewood, I try to create a new world in the studio. Raw, unretouched photographs where wood, dust and figurines create the special effects, bringing a unique and fascinating world to life.
